2007-2008 Speech Contest
Clubs throughout Eastern Division are now organising their own competitions to select their representatives for the four Area level events:
- International Speech contest
- Humourous Speech contest
- Evaluation contest
- Table Topics (Impromptu speaking) contest
Clubs must complete their events by 30 September 2007 and Area competitions must be held by 30 November 2007. Winners then compete in the Eastern Division championships in February 2008 and the very best go on to represent us at the District 73 contest in Lilydale, VIC in May 2008.
Contests offer fabulous opportunities to improve our skills as competitors, as judges or as organisers. Experienced Toastmasters are available to help you with any of these roles. Just ask your club President.
